Under the care of accredited Montessori teachers, children will gain practical life-skills and learn to navigate the world around them with confidence and compassion.

Treating our parents with respect and generosity is very important and sometimes we forget the value we need to give to our parents.

Brother Muaaz will be show casing the value Prophet Ibrahim A.S. had towards his parents and the way he went along his day completing the responsibilities Allah SWT has asked him to.

Answer the following questions in the the light of the lives of the best of the best : Abu Bakr Siddiq RA, Khadijah Bint Khuwaylid RA and Umm Ayman RA

  1. How does a believer keep their Imaan firm in times of difficulty ?

  3. What are the qualities and actions of a successful leader ?

Best of the Best – Lives of the Sahabah

A six month course designed on the Lives of the Sahabah.

وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهَـٰجِرِينَ وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِـإِحۡسَـٰنٍ۬ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡہُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ

As for the first and foremost of the Emigrants (Muhajirin) and the Supporters (Ansar) and those who followed them in goodness, Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah, … (9:100)

Introduction

  • Why is it so essential for us to know about the Lives of the Companions of Prophet ﷺ?
  • What makes the Sahabah so unique and important?
  • How did the ignorant Bedouins of Makkah become the guiding light for the Human race, the lighthouses of the sea and the twinkling stars of guidance in the sky?
  • Quran and Sunnah are the two strongholds for Faith and Guidance, what  better way to learn than to examine how the Companions of the Prophet derived knowledge from these sources.
  • The Sahabah were the ones chosen by Allah سبحانه وتعالىٰ to be the Companions of our beloved Prophet Muhammed ﷺ. They were the ones who benefitted the most and obtained knowledge directly from the Messenger of Allah. They are mentioned in the Quran and Allah has asked Muhammed ﷺ to seek their counsel and be content in their company. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him.

Purpose

  • To learn the core values adopted by the Sahabah under the leadership of Prophet Muhammed ﷺ so that we can align our vision with the purpose and goals of our lives.
  • To respect and love the Sahabah and follow in their footsteps.

What will we learn from this course?

  1. The lives of the Sahabah pre- and post-Islam.
  2. What were the situations and challenges faced by the sahabah during that era; what lessons can we learn to deal with our current situations and challenges that we face in following Islam.
  3. How did the sahabah endure all their trials and tribulations yet still embraced Islam gracefully .
  4. How Islam altered them inside and out and sculpted their characteristics.
  5. How Prophet ﷺ empowered them and helped them acquire the best etiquettes and mannerisms
  6. The evolution of the Golden Era of Islam under the Prophet’s ﷺ leadership.
  7. How we can regain the glory of Islam by following the Quran, Sunnah and the Companions as examplars.
  8. The Sahabah were young and most of them were under the age of 50. Their life was free of contradiction and they practiced what they learnt. The youth of today can make them their role models and in sha Allah be rightly guided.

      Syllabus:

  • Detailed study of the Lives of the Sahabah with references from authentic Ahadith and Seerah.

       Class Procedure/Routine:

  • Classes will be conducted live on YouTube and Facebook twice a week- Tuesday and Thursday.

As per Darulimaan’s Policy, we will not be conducting classes during the holidays (march break). There will be no classes for all the courses from Monday 14th march till Sunday 20th march.
Classes will resume from Monday 21st March.
 Please note that the Youth class has their own schedule and will continue to conduct classes during march break

1. Write  letters from Alif to Yaa and indicate if they are Mufakhum,  Muraqaq and  their Harkaat (how long to stretch them)

This course is designed to  develops basic pronunciation skills of Arabic language, focusing mainly on Makhaarij and Tajweed rules for  proper Quranic recitation.    The first semester consists of 6 -8 months. This course is an absolute must,  for any  Muslim, who wishes to enrich her life with  serene  and melodious recitation of Quran.
